Ferroblack is the most effective way to blacken a weapon.
Of course, the procedure is much more complex, but the final finish will be the best.
Produces a patina of oxide on weapons (after decapping) which must be boiled, and after boiling (the oxide will be converted) you need to polish the part with a wire brush or 0000 steel wool.
Up to 4 treatments are recommended for an excellent finish.
